The Protection Range
By minimizing interventions and lengthening the lifespan of your Extreema® sling, our protection covers ensure a safer and more efficient lifting job. Our Extreema® protection range provides 100% Dyneema® or Cordura® protection for lifting equipment and payloads, ensuring safer lifting operations and compliance with EN-1492-2 regulations (Paragraph D.3.7). With our protection, round slings and webbing slings have a significantly longer lifespan, making work conditions safer.
The Extreema® protection range is available in various sizes and designs. Protection covers are considered worn parts and save the sling, so ordering extra covers is wise. Additional information can be added to the EP-L and EP-C series, including company names and logos, lifting instructions, place-at-bearing-point instructions for riggers, product reference numbers, and more.
EP-L Protection
With Extreema® EP-L series protections on bearing points, angles, and sharp edges, the lifespan and safety of round slings will significantly improve. Made from 100% Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber™, EP-L protection is easy to take off due to the use of velcro.
To further improve our EP-L protection series, we present the EP-L Gold protection series featuring a distinctive double-layer structure. This novel characteristic extends the lifespan of the upper layer by reducing the strain on each layer. Additionally, the EP-L Gold protection can be reversed and utilized on both sides in case of wear and tear, resulting in fewer maintenance requirements and better scheduling.

EP-C Protection
EP-C protection is a reliable solution for protecting your round sling, as it’s made from super-durable Cordura® fiber. This black protection series is resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs, making it an ideal choice for preventing damage to your lifting payload. The EP-C protection can be ordered in various dimensions, with or without Velcro.
To further enhance our EP-C protection series, we offer the EP-C Gold protection series with a unique double-layer design. This innovative feature helps to prolong the top layer’s lifetime by reducing stress on each layer. Moreover, when wear and damage occur, the EP-C Gold protection can be flipped and used on both sides, resulting in fewer interventions and better planning.
